How to frame a travel roll?

There are 2 different sizes of travel scrolls to be distinguished when purchasing. The small travel roll in the format of 152 x 17 cm, will be 165 x 30 cm once framed. And the large travel scrolls with a size of 152 x 23 cm, will be 165 x 36 cm when framed. You are free to adapt the measurements to your needs.

1 – Wooden frame for :

Small travel scroll : 165 x 30 cm outside (1.a) and 156 x 21 cm inside (1.b). The rebate (1.c) which allows the insertion of all the elements is 1 cm.

Large travel roll : 165 x 36 cm outside (1.a) and 156 x 27 cm inside (1.b). The rebate (1.c) which allows the insertion of all the elements is 1 cm.

2 – 3 mm thick glass for :

Small travel roll : 157,5 x 22,5 cm +/- 0,5

Large travel roll : 157,5 x 28,5 cm +/- 0,5

3 – “U” shaped 2-part framing mat board* for :

Small travel roll : 157,5 x 22,5 cm +/- 0,5 outside (3.a) and 150 x 15 cm inside (3.b). Each of the two parts has a “U” shape of 78,75 x 22,5 +/- 0,5 cm outside (3.a) and 75 x 15 cm (3.b)

Large travel roll : 157,5 x 28,5 cm +/- 0,5 outside (3.a) and 150 x 21 cm inside (3.b). Each of the two parts has a “U” shape of 78,75 x 28,5 cm +/- 0,5 outside (3.a) and 75 x 21 cm (3.b)

* There is no framing mat board longer than 120 cm. Tape the 2 parts to the back. With a good cut up, it will not be visible.

4 – Travel Roll :

Small travel scroll : illustration size 150 x 15 cm + 1 cm margin

Large travel roll : illustration size 150 x 21 cm + 1 cm margin

5 – Wooden cardboard background :

Small travel scroll : 157,5 x 22,5 cm +/- 0,5

Large travel scroll : 157,5 x 28,5 cm +/- 0,5
