Preah Ream, also called Rama, is the 7th avatar of Visnu. He is the son of King Dasareth the king of Ayodhya Kingdom and husband of Queen Kokaldya. Preah Ream’s odyssey begins with 14 years of exile with his half-brother Preah Leak and Neang Seda. In Dandaka forest, Leaks mutilates Surpanakha, a demoness trying to seduce him and who’s Krong Reap’s sister. Then, Krong Reap decide to kidnap Neang Seda. This is the beginning of a long war. This headdress topped with a fish tail is worn by Krong Reap when he changes into an ascetic.
