🇬🇧 The work with NGO AVSF - Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières (Agronomists and Veterinarians Without Border) is completed. The project was to illustrate a travel book from them missions in Cambodia than a gift for them contributors. AVSF reaches out to smallholder communities threatened by exclusion and poverty, offering them professional skills in agriculture, livestock farming, and animal health since 43 years. They support 140 000 family with a total of 700 000 people in 20 differents countries. 86% finances are affected to the projects on the 17M€ they have in 2020.

🇫🇷 Le travail avec l`ONG AVSF (Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières) est terminé. Le projet consistait à illustrer un carnet de voyage de leurs missions au Cambodge en guise de cadeau pour leurs contributeurs. AVSF s`adresse aux communautés de petits exploitants menacés par l`exclusion et la pauvreté, en leur offrant des compétences professionnelles en agriculture, en élevage et en santé animale depuis 43 ans. Elle soutient 140 000 familles, soit 700 000 personnes, dans 20 pays différents. 86% des fonds sont affectés aux projets sur les 17M€ dont ils disposent en 2020.

🇬🇧 Last year, at exactly the same time, on November 19, 2021, I was in France at the @rendezvousducarnetdevoyage , one of the biggest festivals in the world about illustrations with more than 15 000 visitors. It seems like a long way away but I remind you that the world was still mostly in lockdown because of Covid! There, I won the first public prize🥇by presenting a large part of my work 😊. This year it will be here sarurday 19 november 2022, at @france_cambodge with @cci_france_cambodge in Phnom Penh that I will show my latest illustrations 😊. I will also be at WIG Christmas Fair at @cisphnompenh the 27 november 2022😊
🇫🇷 L`année dernière, exactement à la même date, le 19 novembre 2021, j`étais en France au @rendezvousducarnetdevoyage de Clermont-Ferrand, l`un des plus grands festivals au monde dans le domaine de l`illustration avec plus de 15 000 visiteurs. Ça nous paraît tous très loin mais je vous rappel que le monde étais encore en grande majorité fermé pour cause de Covid ! Là-bas, j`ai gagné le 1er prix du public🥇en présentant une grande partie de mon travail 😊. Cette année ce sera ici samedi 19 novembre 2022, à l`ambassade de @france_cambodge avec @cci_france_cambodge à Phnom Penh que je montrerai mes dernières illustrations 😊...alors, pas avec un stand comme ça hein ! On sera dans le jardin de l`ambassade 🤓. Je serai aussi au WIG du @cisphnompenh le 27 novembre 2022

🇬🇧 As part of the official closure of Siem Reap airport (the town next to the temples of Angkor), @cambodia.airports asked me to create an illustration just for its 300 employees. Some of them will be leaving a half-life closely associated with the airport. The idea was to offer a precious souvenir to all these people who have a very strong attachment to this place.

(english below) 🇫🇷 Il y a quelques semaines, je reçois un mail d`une personne venant du Canada et qui, en faisant des recherches sur le village de sa famille est tombé sur mon site internet et sur le rouleau de Chhlong. Quel surprise a-t-il eu en découvrant que la maison de son père était dessinée sur ce rouleau de voyage. Il m`a envoyé cette photo de 1964. Sa famille était dans l`exploitation du bois et du transport de marchandises. Chhlong ayant été un port économique très important avant le conflit des Khmers rouge dans les années 70. Aujourd`hui, c`est un petit village peu connu qui mériterait davantage de restauration et de réhabilitation. C`est d`ailleurs l`un des rares projets d`urbanisme et d`architecture du territoire sur lequel j`ai accepté de travailler au Cambodge. Suite à son enthousiasme, jai donc réédité une petite dizaine d`exemplaires de ce rouleau. C`est les derniers, car non seulement, je ne "dessine" plus comme ça...mais de plus, je n`en "peux plus" de voir ces dessins 😬😅.

Les 11 et 12 juin en expo au No Mad Festival en Île-de-France
🇬🇧 A few weeks ago, I received an email from a person from Canada who, while researching his family`s village, came across my website and the Chhlong scroll. What a surprise he had when he discovered that his father`s house was drawn on this travel scroll. He sent me this photo from 1964. His family was in the logging and freight business. Chhlong was a very important economic port before the Khmer Rouge conflict in the 1970s. Today, it is a little known village that deserves more restoration and rehabilitation. It is one of the few urban planning and architectural projects I have accepted to work on in Cambodia. Following his enthusiasm, I re-edited a small number of copies of this scroll. These are the last ones, because not only do I not "draw" like that anymore... but I can`t stand to see these drawings anymore 😬😅.

Cela m`a rappelé mes rêves d`enfants, celui de devenir dresseur de dragon quand je serai grand. Rêves imaginaires ou dragon de bois, ils avaient disparu, brûlé par leur propre égo.
Je serai à Rognes (13) chez les copains de @le_cadrenjoy ce weekend 2 et 3 juillet 2022 pour cette 2e édition de festival sur le dessin avec mes rouleaux de voyage. 14 modèles professionnels à dessiner, 13 artistes et carnettistes en exposition et échanges + des ateliers.

It reminded me of my childhood dreams of becoming a dragon trainer when I grow up. Imaginary dreams or wooden dragons, they had disappeared, burned by their own ego.
I`ll be in Rognes (13) at @le_cadrenjoy this weekend, July 2nd and 3rd, 2022, for this 2nd edition of the drawing festival with my travel rolls. 14 professional models to draw, 13 artists and notebookers in exhibition and exchanges + workshops.
